Liam leaned back in his barber chair, savoring the feeling of the warm towel on his face. The rhythmic snip of the scissors, the gentle chatter of the other customers, the familiar scent of aftershave – everything combined to create a sense of peace. He’d had a difficult week, but now, he felt all his stress melt away. The small shop was his place of refuge. He was relaxed. His phone buzzed on the counter.

He opened the notification. "Your article has been published!" Liam grinned. His work on local history was finally out! He read the following lines. Then his smile disappeared. The article was there, but under someone else's name. He felt a cold dread begin to coil in his gut.
